i didn't spot roy in the venue beforehand, and there was another show at 11pm right afterwards, so I didn't stick around to say try to say hi (i figured he was probably tired from the set anyway). needless to say, it was quite a treat to finally see him play live again after over half a decade has gone by, especially on the kit behind such influential legends once again..
