I LOVE the new album, any direction Max goes (heavy or not? i think all thier albums are 'heavy') Artists have to do what is right for themselves so as much as to each his own goes, whether or not we NEED another heavy album is subjective. I own all of thier albums am happy with each one and continue to enjoy them all and can't fkn wait to see em perform again!

Shagga son of dolf...you have some good points there!
I also fell the same; why doing some ultra heavy fast album with Soulfly, if this could be best metal album of 2012 with CC?
I fuckin miss some tribal shit, world wibe music...
@Soulfly.ro: I feel you brother, but still I'm more 'down to earth' and critical about Max's work...he's my idol, but I just don't get it realy...why he 'kill' Soulfly?
I can understand the line-up changes, and even support them, but why such a change in music stlye? From such cool grooove to fast thrash even death? And on three albums!!!
To be honest I have Enslaved on my comp some time, but I don't dare to listen, because I know that I'll be sad at the end...

Killer song, heavy as shit! But do we really need another super-heavy album? Where is your originality gone? Soulfly's first four albums where the best metal albums ever. Their rude tribal energy was something new, positive and inspriring. It brought me to travel to Brasil, and experience the life energy of this country. The "new" sound since Dark Ages is not bad, but it is terribly anonimous. Simply good heavy metal, and that's all. Can't we leave that to Cavalera Conspiracy?
I'll buy your album as I did with the others, but I'll miss the sound of berimbao and the solar, positive power the older albums transmitted.
PS: I hope this disc will not be dedicated to god.
