@_Ryan : Thanks for the response Ryan and thanks for creating/maintaining your soulfly forum for all of us soulfly fans for the past few years. If wasn't for you and kristoff, soulfly fans would not have had a forum for most of the last decade.

hey guys, for the record, i'm with you... i am also very disappointed with the soulfly "web" situation, as i have been for several years now. the blatant truth is that it has been utterly impossible for me to motivate the "people" that need to be involved to actually get involved and make this a place that fans of the band can take pride in. i don't know if "they" don't understand what is necessary to make this website shine, or if this just don't care. I'm honestly just doing the best that I can with what little i'm given, but it can be hard to stay motivated when i feel like i'm on my own and none of these "people" seem to give a shit about what I actually do or don't do to improve website(s)...

(just so there's no speculation, i'll be blunt about my usage of "people". "people" is a reference to all of the persons who benefit from the operation of the band, including everyone from the band to the record label to the management to the promoters to the crew, etc., etc. ... and hey, maybe even the fans. frankly, if these "people" want soulfly to continue to grow, they really need to start taking this new fangled internet thingy more seriously. just my opinion. for reals tho, this site can't be entirely on my shoulders, cause if so, this is what you'll get... just sayin.)

anyway, the new forum is (supposedly) just days away from completion. if all goes according to plan, you'll be receiving a message this week notifying you about the launch! (fyi, it has been held up for this long because roadrunner's developers have been busy transferring the code from my phpbb2 board to be compatible with their network operated boards ever since a week before this new website opened up. i'm as surprised as you are that they are still not functioning. ...sometimes i regret hand the keys to the site over to rr, but i'm simultaneously relieved that keeping it live is no longer entirely my problem...)

That sucks big time! I hope Ryan is still "with us" and he will give us a true explination abouth all this....I guess after, fow much, 4-5 months without forum we deserve a good one!!!!

It is really disappointing. I wonder if soulfly and roadrunner even want a forum to exist. The only reason there has been a soulfly board for much of the past decade is because of individuals like Kristoff and Ryan. How can you have a new album out and a pathetic website like this?
